The First Body turns presence into transmission.
A suspended origin object with a sensing surface, glass chamber, signal core, and proximity field. It makes contact feel consequential while keeping the room open beneath it.

The Thirteen Transmissions
Thirteen suspended pillars translate one signal into thirteen variations.
Arranged around the First Body as a hanging field, the rectangular LED pillars form the local system: image, light, motion, sound, distortion, and delay.

The Listening Posts
The cubes are receivers, not replicas.
Collector-held constellation units receive the active state from elsewhere. Each one becomes proof that the signal traveled.
When a unit receives a transmission, its holder can confirm: “I am still out here.” That confirmation returns to the system.

The Signal
The signal is the current condition of the work.
It begins with contact, moves through the local field, reaches the constellation units, and waits for confirmation.
